Company Statement:
The new Lillian S. Wells Women's Health Center is made possible through a gift of more than $4.5 million from the Lillian S. Wells Foundation. The new center will treat the entire woman, not just her symptoms.
Services will include:
Digital mammography
Health and wellness classes
Breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
Advanced technology for gynecological services
Bone density screenings
Support groups
Therapeutic massages
and more.
The Lillian S. Wells Women's Health Center has been nominated to receive the WomenCertified Seal of Approval, which signifies its commitment to women-friendly service. The management of the Women’s Health Center and 55 members of our staff have completed the WomenCertified training and certification program to strengthen our commitment to providing better service and a women friendly experience. Broward General Medical Center is the only hospital in Florida to receive this important designation.
